Demolition as Construction

Aaron Tan the director of RAD studied a slum prior to its demolition in the early 90s, which was interestingly known for its rhizonic urban development. A park was left in memory of the Kowloon Walled City. We revisited the park with Greg Girard a photographer familiar with the former slum to explore the site now and in its former state. Leading to the exhibition of a documentary book and the installation of 4000 photos of the demolition.
