I am a very dedicated and experienced architect and urban designer with over 25 years of experience, strongly driven by curiosity and experimentation, I produce creative designs that are so functionally specific that they offer unique and inspiring spatial experiences.
My work aims to demonstrate a multidisciplinary and holistic approach to architecture, based on convergence and bringing together different merits and expertise. My design approach is informed by brainstorming and a collaborative thought process.
I have a proven track record of completing more than 25 complex projects on budget and ahead of schedule, I am comfortable engaging in areas beyond the traditional architectural boundaries by executing projects for product design, exhibition design, strategy, and brief-making.
Before moving to Asia I worked as an architect and industrial designer in Verona (Italy) closely with several international firms.
My past collaborations range from Massimiliano Fuksas architect (New Milan Trade Fair, 2005), Emilio Ambasz architect (New Hospital in Mestre, Venice 2006), and Alfredo Arribas architect (Seat corporate identity 1999/2000). My works were awarded several grants, including the 2007 World Beverage Innovation Awards / Best Packaging Innovation. Showcased at La Sorbonne of Paris, at the 49th Biennale of Venice, and in several international design expositions.
Since 2023, I have been working as a freelance professional with various companies and have also taken on a teaching role as a lecturer at City University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI).
Prior to this, I served as a Design Director at RAD Ltd from 2007 until 2023. In my role as team leader, I successfully completed numerous notable projects, including W_Place and The Factory in Hong Kong, with W_Place receiving the HKIA Award in 2010. I also led teams for several exhibitions at the Venice Biennale in 2008 and 2010. My recent projects include the Hyatt Regency in Hyderabad, All Day Dining and Indian Restaurants at TAJ Dwarka, a 46-hectare masterplan in Tianjin, a designer hotel in Chengdu, and the new K11 Art Center in Beijing, among others.
